Since the SAT is the most important test for university admissions, it is always a good idea to start preparing as early as possible. This gives you more preparation time to reach your high score goals. For students targeting Turkey and ADA, it is best to start before 9th grade by June. Otherwise, a student should start in the spring before 10th grade to increase the effectiveness of our program because there are no distractions, such as school classes, projects, exams, or any other school activity.
After graduating from high school algebra and geometry, you are ready to take the SAT. Although SAT is included in Algebra II, it is only a small part of the math part, about 10%.
Education counselors advise students and their families in choosing educational programs based on students’ individual needs and talents. The need for an educational advisor may vary by student; We recommend that you arrange a meeting with your consultant as a research base, as it can provide some general information as a starting point for research. If your school counselors give students many hours of counseling during the admissions process and have received special training in seminars, or if you can access information through a college career center, then you may not need an education counselor. You can also apply to career services or counseling departments within the institutions you are considering applying for. You may want to find out how much money they require before starting a service.
The SAT is over 1600 points in total. Evidence-based reading + writing is two separate tests for 400 points each, for a total of 800 points. The math section scores 800 points.
Although you can take as many SATs as you want, we recommend that you take them at least 2 times, at most 3 or 4 times.
Yes and no! The SAT has a non-calculator section that does not allow the use of a calculator. In the other part, you can use your calculator. Be sure to check which types of calculators are allowed!
